The #2001X family of Flat File Renewal Flints is no longer manufactured. This product line became obsolete when the #3001X line was introduced. Years ago, we offered several different sized replacement flints. Each flint was matched to a particular file type.
With the introduction of the proprietary SHURLITE file process, the files were improved to the point where it was no longer necessary to offer a special flint for different lighters. All single flint SHURLITE Lighters can now use the same replacement flint. Using a single flint size enabled us to lower prices due to the increased volumes of a single size flint.
